I don't know for sure about my specific area but unfortunately I think there are a lot of those groups in a lot of places. (No shocker I guess since I found out from a very authoritative source that there is an active KKK group in a town about 30 min. away from here...I hate it here.)

I'm skeptical of "them" words, (they aren't us, there are "them"). like Incels. They are bloggers' "boogiemen". But I do think that women's equality, gay rights, ecology, science over religion, etc is a thin veneer of civility, which a sizable portion of the population would extinguish, as soon as given the OK. Antisemitism was always present in pre WWII Germany, but Hitler allowed it to be put into practice.

Not only this topic but others, too- when individuals get the idea somebody 'wronged' them or they get some kind of grudge going, it's bad enough, but when they band together in groups ('movements,' etc.) they can be dangerous.
I just hope law enforcement is keeping close watch on them.
The most dangerous thing is to let radical nutcases gain ground because nobody is taking them seriously.

I have read about them. Incel-"involuntary celibate".

What @RadishRose said. I've studied this a bit too. In addition, incels feel they should have the most beautiful women without trying and without making themselves particularly presentable and nice. Not for a relationship, necessarily; mainly for sex, as I recall.

No, this (INCEL) is a white man thing. My son says it's always gonna go wrong when white men get together. Hope I quoted him right.

wonder why the CEO is a non-white guy then... in the Uk women of colour mainly Indian and pakistani women are reported to be sexually abused much more often than white because they're attacks happen within the family.. but largely go unreported
The Incels can't get close enough to a woman to abuse her; imagine his confusion on what actually to do with a female.

They are unfortunately here too. A few years ago, one of them decided to mow down several people,
by driving up on the sidewalks in a vehicle. They appear to hate women.

This behavior and set of beliefs is very troubling. The simple fact is that when women do well, men benefit. This has to be strongly opposed by men in addition to women.

Being angry that they can't seem to have a relationship with a woman, they hate women so much it has driven them to violence, even murder.

My husband saw one of the victims lying on the sidewalk, when he left an appointment on the other side of the street. There was a vigil held at our City Hall that evening, for all the victims.
