The Incel Movement - worrying rise in hate and violence toward women in UK

To expand a bit from my above post for clarity. Before this modern era, the majority of ordinary people were exposed to far fewer others, primarily those within their local communities and villages. Thus both genders at all levels of physical attractiveness were able to readily pair up with appropriate others. Once humans do so, levels of love bonding are the same as they always have been as humans experience the deep inner person that is more important than that of the visual exterior.

But in this era, due to the rise of telecom and other visual media, ordinary people are inundated with imagery of those with extreme physical attractiveness that then warps their inner sense of desirable others. Worse, rampant media porn nudity plus self S affects through hormonal actions of neural plasticity changes, what they desire just like Pavlov's dog's salivation began to occur anytime the bell was rung. When the rise of men's magazines entered mainstream society in the 1960's, there were public psychology discussions on how men were being affected in such ways that had some rejecting exposure to those influences.

Unknown but that was a long long time ago in some paper print media. Am not someone that has ever tended to read news or media about S and gender so I can spout "don't ask me, I don't know much, or have interest."
 

As I said before, "There's no limit on the crazies in this world." There is a lot of them and they enjoy being on the media. There is a lot of anger in this world. Since I am a pretty happy guy I really have nothing to do with them. Have a nice day!

Incel groups started in Britain. They are men who are not able to attract women and so become dangerous and filled with resentment. UK police are very aware of these groups and are considering them terrorist groups. They are predominantly white and has nothing to do with Indian or Muslim men (I don’t know where that idea comes from). There may be a sprinkling of non white among the lot but certainly not predominant.
But men aren’t the only ones, there exists a Femcel movement run by hard core feminists. Also started in the UK. These are misandrists, women who find it difficult to have a relationship with a male. These female involuntary celibates are growing. They hate men and they also hate women who are happily in a relationship.
 
Yes, there are men that cannot relate to women and hold some sort of grudge against them. I'm not a woman and I don't know anyone who hates women except my older, now dead, brother.

However, I have a feeling many men hate exercise. I went to an exercise class this morning. There were 12 women and I man. Yes, that 1 man was me.

Also, I have a strange feeling that many men hate attending classes about eating healthy. I attended 1 such class this afternoon at a Senior Center. There were about 14 women and 1 man. Yes, that 1 man was me!

Perhaps I'm strange because I like to exercise and I care about what I eat but I sure wonder where the men are hiding and what they are doing? Perhaps making noise with motorcycles?
 
I was not aware of the term "incel", so I looked it up.
The main theme seemed to be men who feel that most women exploit men for some sort of financial gain.
One man talked about being financially wiped out following a divorce.
Others talked about the flood of se*uality in the media and movies. Apparently, this made them feel that they were being left out.
Some talked about the endless list of "make or break" rules women have, and that it has become too difficult to keep a woman happy, and that there was no way men could win or even break even.

Just repeating what I have read thus far.

That's how it's been with me, exercising with numerous widowed women or those soon-to-be widowed. I suspect some men think that heart attack/stroke/diabetes/kidney disease(etc) is what other guys get, or else they think that its' all 'hereditary' and there's nothing they can do anyway.

That INCEL movement is new to me, checking it out I find out, it sounds like something out of an Alfred Hitchcock movie. In the movie, Psycho Norman Bates suffered from dissociative identity disorder, or so they say. Definitely, a person to stay away from at all costs. Borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia, and other disorders are now called Incel.

You may well be right, but that is assuming that the problem is limited to immigrants. It isn't. Many attacks are on white women by white men. There is just a general hostility towards all women , as though they are responsible for all the trouble in the world.

Whatever happened to "faint heart never won fair lady" and taking time to win over a young woman with conversation, and spending time together to get to know each other? Expecting sex from any woman just because you demand it is never going to fly when it comes to forming a relationship.

If they want meaningless sex without strings or effort, let them pay for it. The better looking the tart, the more they should expect to be charged.

One has to wonder how many women enjoy s** at all ? I see nothing wrong with s** without strings.
Something to consider. Working in restaurants, I routinely overheard conversations between gays. Gays routinely get together just for s**. They don't expect any strings. Just s** for the fun of it.
However, you seem to be saying that women should be paid if there are no strings.

Don't be obtuse, Senior Chef. These young men call themselves incels, derived from the words 'involuntary celibates', which means they aren't getting any. They feel entitled to demand s*x from the prettiest and most desirable women and are not prepared to take any rejection. That is arrogant and disrespectful. Not only that, but they think it is OK to beat the women up as punishment for not responding to their crude advances. They are pathetic whiney boy-men who think that s*x exists to gratify them, not women.

Please tell me what meaning women might find in such an offer. There are some women who don't care about meaning, unless you count money as being meaning enough. However, the incels won't stoop to a financial transaction - they believe that they can achieve gratification and validation with the most desirable woman in the room, and how dare she refuse them.

I don't personally know any "incels" , but I seriously doubt that they literally DEMAND se* from women. Also, I doubt that they feel entitled to se* with the prettiest women. WANT se* with pretty women ... of course. After all, what man doesn't want se* with pretty women?

I don't know where you are getting your information, but in the minimal research I have done, I didn't read about any men who think it is ok to beat women.

I don't doubt that the incels are angry with women. AND, there is certainly much posted about that anger. However, don't many women have anger with men ?

The battle of the sexes continues on and on. Unlikely that will EVER stop.

I agree. Nobody is entitled to anything. BUT, people just naturally want the best in life. As youngsters, people begin to develop certain desires. By adulthood, those desires become entrenched.

Yesterday, on the city bus, I saw the cutest 2 yr old, and I wondered how such an angel could end up fouled up like some people?
I truly believe that LIFE happens to them. Not merely one or two events, but a series of traumatic events which warps their minds. Just as a woman does not develop a hated of men because of a single event, men do not develop a hatred of women because of a single event.

So, ask yourselves, what series of events caused some men to become MGTOW or incels ?
