I've read mixed reviews and want to see this one at the cinema.

No spoilers please but if anyone has seen it, what was your reaction?
Was it enjoyable, funny, exciting ? ...

No spoilers, but wife and I seen it last Saturday in 3-D at local theater. It was good, but we are going to see it again in a regular theater with regular sound. The sound, in the theater we were in, was pretty loud and I couldn't understand some of the lines actors/actresses were saying. We seen The Force Awakens twice in a theater, before buying the movie.

The Last Jedi was good, no doubt about that, but certain things confused a number of people who seen it. There will be a sequel to The Last Jedi that will come out in December 2019. In May of next year/2018, The Hans Solo Story comes out. Not really interested in that.

We are both big fans of Star Wars and have pictures on a bedroom wall along with figurines from 4, 7 and Rogue One. Also have Halloween costumes.......Darth Vader, Princess Leia (dress, hair, boots) and Empire Stormtrooper (female) complete with full helmet, Blaster/Holster and boots. My Darth Vader costume cost us around $850 and it was on sale from $1,400. It's all hard injected molded plastic. Have the boots and full helmet as well. Everything lights up on the costume. Also, have a $150 Lightsaber from Walmart.

If anyone wants to see my Vader outfit, just let me know and I'll put it on here.

Ok, back to The Last Jedi movie.........my recommendation, go see it.

I hope to see the movie either this week or beginning of Jan. The main reason,I'm interested to see how the film makers pay tribute to late, Carrie Fisher. Sue

Saw The Last Jedi again, but in a small theater. I learned quite a bit more about the movie and could tell that certain scenes compared to Star Wars IV/Revenge of the jedi. A lot of Star Wars fans are wondering how the character, General Leia, is going to be handled, since Carrie Fisher has passed away. Will the Director/Producer do the same thing they did in Rogue One, recreate Leia with an actress that looks somewhat like her and add CGI.

Don't know about this week, the when the film was released in China, it hasn't done nearly as good as predicted at the box office.

I guess I am in a very, very small minority that has never seen anything related to Star Wars, and no plans to catch up with you folks. :)

I'm guessing you haven't seen Lord of the Rings either.
These sagas hold a strong fascination for me.
I'm totally unmoved by the Marvel version though.
