Usually I wink and smile when I want to let people know that the wink was my answer to their busy body questions.

As I read your comment I recalled where I picked up the 'wink' thing, my favorite aunt, Aunt Betty used to wink just right after when she said something. There weren't many winkers around me while I was growing up so I never acquired the skill, but Dad did wink sometimes, his mother, my gran, winked at me too as did her sister Lou who was very funny.
I love it when a lady winks at me while conversing. I get all fuzzy and soft and feel like a snowflake melting in the sunlight. I know there may be a hidden meaning there. A secret exchange? An invitation? Or perhaps a speck of dust or pollen that found it's way to her eye? What an interesting game!A polite casual respectful wink to you all today![]()
