The level of awareness vary by individual

I don’t know if everything is coming to head but it sure seems that way. I doubt that the changes mention here happened overnight while everyone was asleep. I question, however, where I have been these past years not to have seen these warnings until now?

My elder sister can sense when family members that have passed on are around. During the first week of my mother's death, I heard her voice very softly, same thing happened when a male resident of a nursing home where I worked passed on, that I talked to a lot. I heard his voice about 6 days after he died. I used to hear things, I'd tell my sister and she would find out what family member, was around me at the time. Now we have both shut them out. You hear them when everything is quiet in the house. It get gets to a point where you need sleep and rest more than listening to someone babbling to you when you want to close your eyes and sleep.

It was so normalized in the area that I grew up that it takes a while to really see what is going on. I did not realize it until I was in my teens and moved away.

Without moral principles how are we to govern ourselves humanely? With no laws being made to govern our moral principles, how do we make society healthy? We can't throw out moral guidance. It can become a free for all, and it kinda is right now. To the point it is getting angry. I hope Jesus comes back soon.

Here is an idea. Ask the smartest "thing" in the world "what is humanism?"

A Humanist is someone who subscribes to the philosophy of Humanism. Here are some key aspects of Humanism:

In essence, Humanism is a philosophy centered on human interests or values, emphasizing human dignity, worth, and capacity for self-realization through reason2. It advocates for human rights, free speech, progressive policies, and democracy2. It is often associated with secularism and views humanity as responsible for the promotion and development of individuals2. I hope this helps! 😊

Maybe its just "in" today to be a victim or a minority. That way there are a lot of excuses for why you didn't succeed in life or whatever.
I am glad you brought that up. Will you tell me where you got your sources?

That was just a personal observation. I used to notice that in college courses years ago...the possible start of it. Of course if a person is a "go getter" then they will work hard to "go get", no matter where they came from. Cream always rises to the top,

Very true. And the Founders of the U.S., being students of history and therefore well aware of how many wars had religious causes, wisely put it front and center in the very First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution:

Actually it was originally the 3rd Amendment as proposed to the States

"Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."Actually
Get that? "No law." None. N - O - N- E. So that means no scripture of any religion, no explicit displays of any religion in any government offices. Displays in stores trying to sell stuff for the holidays? Okay by me; I don't give a sh*t what most stores do. But in official government offices? Enough already with the unconstitutional displays. Enough.
Your interpretation of it may of course be different from the Courts.

Don't believe everything you hear on the news. I'm surrounded by evangelicals in the Bible Belt who are by no means persecuted here, go to church, read their bibles and then go out into communities to give time, energy and money in charitable endeavors.
We used to live near a lot of Mennonites. Ones that drove old cars and horse and buggy. You’d see them in the field ploughing their grain with their horses and gear needed.
They sell most things they make but they aren’t cheap. The quality is always top notch though.

I liked the feeling of having them around. They certainly added character to our landscapes.
