Just remembered I did indeed see it, and remember it. Since I'm in the same living room I watched it in all those years ago makes memories like that easier.

Cass Eliot was on her way to becoming a solo act. She was selling out concerts. And in the U.K., they just could not get enough of her. She had an IQ of 165.
And she died of cardiac arrest, and not from a choked ham sandwich.
Whenever I hear the Mamas & Papas, I can pick out her voice, it was so right for their sound.
