It's simmered slowly in the bbq sauce on stovetop, @MrPants . Liver gets coated in flour and browned first and then it simmers slowly in the sauce. It works with regular liver, but the more tender calves liver is better. The sauce is just the normal homemade bbq sauce.... ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, etc. etc.This is interesting Kate. Can you share more about how it's actually cooked? Is it cooked on a BBQ or just simmered in BBQ sauce in the oven or a crock pot or what? Sounds like something I might like to try![]()
