My home is my own personal Bubble...
This house has seen many family and friends come and go over the years..parties, family reunions, friends and visitors galore..... now I;m on my own I'm loving this as my own personal space.... do what I want.. no more parties.. no more endless visitors... no more family reunions.. peace to do what I want when i want !

I understand what you are saying, and those feelings of the past ….but sometimes wonderful memories play tricks on us.

I think there's a lot to be said for the old quote from LP hartley... ''The past is a foreign country they do things differently there''...
altho' I moved to Engand when I was just 19... and have lived in several parts of England during those years and over 40 years in this area..I still don't feel like it's my true home... .. yet the odd thing is when I do visit Scotland much as I long for it..I don't feel that's my home either.. because it's different to when i was growing up.. there's a whole different vibe, a different type of people.. structural changes everywhere , making streets, roads, whole areas I don't recognise . and so on.... and so I find myself pleased when I return to England and ''home''... so that quote sums it all up.......so I will die never really feeling at home anywhere
