I came on the forum today to discuss negative thinking, but after reading everyone's post and responses you put me in a positive mood. Thank you!
I was once real until not.I came on the forum today to discuss. I read the replies to my Introduction thread and now I'm trying to prove to myself that I'm real...![]()
I thought I was real but I'm not sure any more...I was once real until not.
Have you considered working in a group home? They have full and part time jobs and are staffed 24/7. You work for a company not an individual family. Different homes have different qualifications and those differ from state to state. The homes also different in their resident types.Since my job ended in February my social skills have slightly declined. This is one reason I am looking for employment, but there are not many places that do not require a lot of standing or heavy labor. Retail sales are out, I don't want to be subjected to the rant of an angry customer. Caregiver is a possibility except I am leery of entering a stranger's home and being under his/her domain. Plus you don't know what you are getting into working directly with the family.
I should look into where people congregate, The Senior Centers have not reopened yet. The City/County are renovating a building in town that will serve as the main center for seniors and satellite stations throughout the County.
@CAKCy You thought, therefore you were and probably still are. You can always decide later but your interactions at least show you're here now or were then. Take your time. Some days, I feel more real than others.I thought I was real but I'm not sure any more...
Descartes is not enough proof for some. I'm still cleaning the ink from fingerprinting...@CAKCy You thought, therefore you were and probably still are. That's a good sign then. Fingerprint ink doesn't stick well to nonexisistent fingertipsDescartes is not enough proof for some. I'm still cleaning the ink from fingerprinting...
But what if the ink wasn't real either? That's a good sign then. Fingerprint ink doesn't stick well to nonexisistent fingertips![]()

Just curious, but have you posted this in the wrong place? Cause, you know, the OP is looking for positive stuff.I come on this site for new ideas and interesting points of view. For purely negative, dooms day news I always go to our Canadian CBC. According to them, we are all going to die from those new variants of interest, the climate change will kill all the rest who survive and that is only the beginning of their daily barge of super bad news. If that don't get you buddy, then there is the constant dose of photos showing long sticks of being shoved up the nose of some young girl. It's always girls for some reason. Yep, according to the CBC we are all doomed; no using even trying!
Pinch your cheeks. If you feel it, that’s real. If it leaves ink marks, your fingers need further cleaning. But what if the ink wasn't real either?
Excellent idea!Pinch your cheeks. If you feel it, that’s real. If it leaves ink marks, your fingers need further cleaning.
Well... I've got an Unreal ID. Where do I apply for a "Fake Persona" one?The unreal are among good company here, We abound with fake persona.
Funny you should say that, Mr Ed. I was just reading your post in the Cowboy advice thread and thinking how much I like you!I came on the forum today to discuss negative thinking, but after reading everyone's post and responses you put me in a positive mood. Thank you!
I'll take that as a hint...by William Hughes Mearns
