Though very much a peace loving person, have never posted in most lovely @chic 's thread but just quickly looked through all 31 thread pages. Lots of beauty and lovely aesthetics, thank you. As a landscape and nature photographer here in California, I have many beautiful images especially of flowers.

But this is near the end of Fall mid December so looked at what I have that has beauty, is in the Fall, and is something intimate, peaceful.

The above original is a large 10200 by 8200 pixel image of a small coastal stream an hours drive away, the day after a breezy period dropped many big leaf maple leaves herein downsized 5x for web.

And below is a macro close-up of a pretty rose, that will have to substitute as a distant kiss.
