A CHILD'S POEM FOR PEACE
Where worries disappear from me
It’s where I run, where I can play
And all my fears just fade away
It’s where the sky is always blue
And everything is bright and new
The birds sing and the flowers grow
And there’s a gentle breeze that blows
Peace is a feeling in my heart
It’s where I feel safe and apart
From all the noise, from all the strife
And know that everything’s alright
I wish for peace for all the world
For all the boys and girls unfurled
So everyone can laugh and play
And all our fears will go away
So let’s spread peace wherever we go
And make the world a peaceful show
And when we do, we’ll see it grow
Believe me, everyone will love it so.
