The Queen Bans Harry, Meghan and prince Andrew

It seems to me that an adult’s place on the Royal balcony has to be earned by performing Royal duties. Harry, and by extension Meghan, quit the job so haven’t earned a place. For they claimed in the beginning that they wanted a quiet simple existence, seems like they go into withdrawal symptoms if a little time passes without a feature on them. Like the old Duke and Duchess of Windsor. After a while just gets irritating to see so much of them so often.

Seems kind of odd to put this out publicly...I mean it
didn't have to be done....!!!!
It does seem unnecessary.

While I think H&M are both difficult characters, I think Meghan did not understand that marrying Harry, the second son, meant they did not have equal status as Charles and William. It is a shame, H&M were initially popular, they could have been an asset but, their public conflicts with both their families, has made them outsiders.

If H&M appear on the balcony at any time, Netflix will be delighted. I am not a fan so, it doesn't matter to me one way or the other, except Andy, I would tut a bit if he muscled in.

No-one in the UK had ever heard of her much less the show she worked on...I can absolutely assure you of that!!
I'm from Canada and I can guarantee that I never heard of her; until, of course, she met Harry. But then, I'm not really into the celebrity thing. Good for the Queen and her decision. We in Canada try to please everyone and in the end please very few. The Queen has been around forever (since 1953, I believe) and has more than earned the right to decide who is invited and who is coming "to her BIG party."

Maybe Harry and Meghan could come over to Andrew's home or vice versa and they could watch the big event on their telly. Just a suggestion! LOL

Well no I didn't suggest Canadians knew of her... it was someone else who said that, when in fact she was a 2 bit American actress...

Well I don't think there's going to be any doubt that H&M will make it look like it's their decision not to attend the Platinum Jubilee event , they seem completely oblivious to the fact everyone already knows about their wiley ways ...as for Andrew, well the Queen will ensure his daughters are included because they're 'working royals'.. and Andrew will still be getting paid an allowance from Mummy whether he attends or not, he'll probably be having a good time playing golf.. or riding horse around the Balmoral Estate ..

In the end, H & M are family so let them gather with family privately if not publicly. Families shouldn't be torn apart no matter what their differences.

Of course it's necessary:

There must be no doubt of the Queen's displeasure, and had such an announcement not been made there would have been intense speculation when they didn't appear on the balcony.

They are yesterday's people.

I would not attend any function attended by Harry, his wife, or Andrew and his ex wife. I might not go so far as to give them the cut direct but I would certainly not acknowledge them:

Her Majesty The Queen, probably had nothing to do with this
decision, it will have been done by Charles and William and
courtiers who advise the Royals, the Queen would be asked
to agree to it in order to show that there is dislike of the way
they have each in different ways, insulted the Queen, caused
harm to the Monarchy, plus being a liar in one particular case.

I am with you Laurie, I wouldn't go in the same room as them.

Mike.

Buckingham Palace staff are making plans to block Harry and Meghan's Netflix cameras when they return to the UK for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee events.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are flying over from California to join the monarch in celebrating 70 years on the throne, although they have been banned from the palace balcony for the showpiece Trooping the Colour ceremony.

However, the couple are still expected to play a significant role, and some royal aides are concerned about the prospect of tension among the family if a film crew also appear in tow.

A well-placed source told the Sun: 'Even if they accept that their Netflix crew can't go into Buckingham Palace to film, they could cause problems — and at the very least cause a major distraction.

'Senior courtiers believe that Netflix will see it as one big opportunity to exploit their mega-millions agreement with the couple.

'So a team of Palace aides will be on standby to keep a very close eye on the crew, and act as minders if needs be.'

It comes as Netflix chiefs are said to be exasperated by the decision of the couple to give bombshell interviews to rival television networks – despite having a multi-million-dollar deal with the streaming giant.

After seeing some headlines or gossip the Harry is dumb, a Megan 'insult' is bugging or still bugging her and Megan and Harry have failed to deliver on some projects. It could be about image and/or maintaining a higher or royal standard.
