If you could ask just one question of the either the Queen , the President or the Pope, and be guaranteed to be given a truthful answer, who would you ask and what would your question be?

Good question rkunsaw...I'd love to know that answer too..

For me to the Queen....do you really think Kate Middleton will make a good Queen !

It's quite well documented what the Queen carries in her purse.....

...Fergie :king:

Seriously, apparently she only carries a lipstick, mirror and tissues. The ladies in waiting carry everything else, and the Detectives carry money!

To The Queen:

"Tell me, your Highness - is it true that once a year you go to the Tower of London, strip naked and play with all of the Crown Jewels?"

Well I have to say I wasn't a huge Diana fan, although to lose her life was tragic so young. However IMO few of us know anything about Kate, apart from the fact she is an upper class clothes horse and bears children with difficulty ....hardly a basis to compare the 2 women

Diana was there to provide ''The heir and the spare'' whilst her husband was being unfaithful with Parker Bowles..

It must have been tough...

I would ask the President, "How come that not one just plain ordinary old Joe or Josie can ever be elected or asked to serve on a cabinet or committee position?" After all, 90% of real Americans are middle to lower income, but actually do most of the work and pays most of the bills. Isn't it only fair that at least one average "Joe the Plumber" be asked to serve somewhere within the President's cabinet or a committee or at the very least, have a job as a consultant to the President on what the average American thinks about issues that affect each of us Americans? I don't expect to have an average person be consulted about international issues, but issues regarding taxes, laws, and so on. Don't drudge up the old stuff about abortion and G&L rights.

Our vice president strikes me as an average "Joe". Perhaps not in political or economic stature but certainly in intellectual perceptions. I like the guy and I'd give him a shot if Hillary didn't have it locked. You are right though...it's been a long time since Harry Truman.

Good question April...I've often wanted to ask that question of serving prime ministers and presidents if they've been pretty much disliked while in office..although some people who serve are real narcissist who despite a bad press and a terrible job during their term of office have skin as thick as hide..and would go on serving indefinitely if they could!

I think I would ask a question of the President of the US. I have no questions for the Pope, and really none for the Queen either. So, errr, it would be 'Was your expectation of actually being President all that you thought it would be, and what would you like history to remember you by?'
