I give it:love_heart::love_heart::love_heart::love_heart::love_heart: What a great movie!!! For anyone who enjoys a light hearted romp through the world of our furry friends. I would have sat through it a few more times, that's how much fun it was. I would recommend it highly. It has some intense action scenes that might be a bit much for kids under 8, but otherwise it's for everybody:D

I guess it's how you feel about cartoons too. My Dad to us to see "Up" when it came out and I didn't really like it. But I've seen the Shrek movies a zillion times.

From the ads I've seen I know I will love it. I love Up. I've watched it over and over. Shrek is cute. How did your daughter like it, Fur?

Fur, did you see it in the theater? From the TV ads, looks like a cute movie to me, would like to see it someday. Thanks for the review!

Yes we saw it in a theater I haven't been to for years. Now we know, besides a senior discount...Monday afternoon and you have the place almost to yourself. My daughter loved it, I loved it. Then we went to our favorite ice cream place after. Oh and then my son got us Indian takeout for dinner:DBirthdays suck at our age but this was a lovely one. Tomorrow I'm making my own cake...something I enjoy doing. Then Wednesday we celebrate with my Dad and son's family.

That sounds like such fun Fur! The loving quality time you spent with your daughter, the ice cream and Indian food must have been a very lovely time indeed! What kind of cake are you making? Happy Birthday! :)

Oh, SB the perfect card !!!!! I'm making a wintergreen cake. A tradition my Mom started centuries ago. Basically melting the pink candies down in milk and adding them to the cake and icing. That's a fun story in itself. My Mom was a working woman ahead of her generation. She also hated to be in the kitchen. A lack of time and skills and even she called them " Disaster Cakes". Layers would separate or even fall apart completely. Turkey skewers are handy...Then if there weren't birthday candles available. Whatever candle could be found in a pinch. My birthday cakes weren't beautiful but always tasted perfect. I remember heading off to college the first time. The taxi to the airport was early...Mom packed her wintergreen birthday cake in a cookie tin. I ate it on the way...wish I could give her a big hug right now.

Last night we watched The Good Dinosaur. It was exactly what I needed. I so related to what the little fellow had to go through to overcome his fears, not drown, save this little human and make it back home to help his mom. That's what I've been doing during the past thirty-six years relative to my brother. When I finished watching it, I felt freer than I've felt in years. That's what good writing can do. It can transport us to a place where we can be free. That freedom often comes one step at a time, but movies and books can bring us to moments of enlightenment and/or satori sooner. They can contribute to our well-being.
