The tattoos/ink on my back

Nope!

I’m more curious about why you feel the need to share them with the world. šŸ¤”
Why not?
We share various aspects of life o n a social forum. How is this any different?

I do not have any tattoos - if I did get one, I would want it where I could see it myself, not on my back though.

My husband does have a large one on each upper arm

No, but my brother that served in Nam had his entire body done after he got home. His neck and face he kept clear, but his back had a big bird all over it so when he flexed the muscles it looked like the bird was flying. I think it was an eagle, not sure.

Nope. Too painful. I have discussed this at length with friends who have tats and there is just no way I'd put myself through that. Although I was wondering if tat stories were kind of like fisherman's stories... a little bit embellished to make the story better.

Plus, if I ever gain a lot of weight or get wrinkles or get saggy, those tats would be trouble, wouldn't they?

In my 30 years in the military, I have seen all types of sizes and designs, including ā€œMOM.ā€ I did consider it a number of times, but fought off the temptation. Once when we were in Taipei, an Officer that was with the 3 of us had his wife’s name tattooed to his shoulder near his heart. Maybe two or so years later, they were divorced. He had the name made into a design. Some of these artists are really artists.
