My dog's liked to roll in funky stuff (or eat it) since he was a puppy, and still now into his old age, lol. The cat is very dog-like, we take him camping and he roams off-lead, and comes when called like a dog (when he's good and ready).

Thanks so much for the very interesting dog and cat info, Meanderer...it answered a lot of my questions about our dog and cat.
Love your picture, Seabreeze, and your dog and cat look so contented. Our cat hates our dog, even tho our dog wants to be friends. The cat likes to tease the dog to get closer and then jumps on something high up, and chuckles inside her head.

Our last cat was a calico named taffy. She was the jewel who stood out among a litter of 8 or so all black kittens. As I understand Calicos are all females, except for one out of
3000, who is a male. She lived to the age of 21, and at Christmas time, liked to sleep under the tree. We used to joke about what she was dreaming about, and my Wife and I each wrote a poem about her dream. When Christmas rolls around, I will share it. Do you think cats can dream?
