The Untold Story of Volodomyr Zelensky

I was just reading from a Seattle Tribune newspaper article that Zelensky has now purchased the Mercedes that used to belong to Hitler, and is driving it around in Ukraine.
The vehicle was sold at auction in 2018, and ended up in Seattle, to an unknown owner, who was thought to be possibly Jeff Bezos or Bill Gates, since it was seen in the area of Seattle where they live.
Then it was privately sold again, and a non-disclosure agreement was signed, and the information only said that the car was going “far, far away”, as in overseas.
Now, people have seen Zelensky driving it and there were pictures in the newspapers from there, which are also in the Seattle paper.

Based on available information, there is no evidence to suggest that Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, has purchased the Mercedes-Benz 770K Grosser Offener Tourenwagen that previously belonged to Adolf Hitler.

In fact, the car was sold at an auction in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2018 to an anonymous buyer. According to reports, the buyer was not identified as Zelensky or any Ukrainian entity.

The limousine of Adolf Hitler, a Mercedes-Benz 770K Grosser Offener Tourenwagen, was auctioned in January 2017 at Worldwide Auctioneers in Scottsdale, Arizona, and the car was purchased by an anonymous buyer. In 2017, Zelensky was a comedic actor.

URGENT FACT CHECK There’s a FALSE story circulating claiming that Ukrainian President Zelensky purchased Hitler's car for $15 million. This claim is completely FAKE and appears to be part of Russian disinformation spread through a network of accounts on X.

Zelensky is Jewish, making the idea that he would purchase Hitler's car absurd.

The website used as “evidence” (Seattle Tribune) was registered just last week on October 3, 2024, indicating it's a newly created fake site.

The claim originated from a random Telegram account with no credibility.

The photo being used to “prove” the location is manipulated, merging two separate images from different years.

This disinformation tactic mirrors previous fake stories, such as the Russian hoax about Kamala Harris being involved in a “hit and run.” The methods are similar—using fake news sites that imitate legitimate U.S. outlets.Stay alert and don’t spread these lies!
