Did you see how slow Robert Stack moved, no wonder he couldn't catch crooks.

The title 'The Untouchables,' should have designated the crooks that totally disregarded the law.
That was my take, when i watched Elliott Ness wrestle with the big time crooks depart the court room laughing (untouchable),
 
Entertaining but totally unrealistic. After Capone was caught, Ness moved to Cleveland. He was not in Chicago when these episodes supposedly occured. He had many deputies, not a few.
 
I was 4 in 1959... however the Untuchable aired on our TV here in the uk sometime in the 60's and altho' I never actually watched it my mother did, so I was aware of it... I'm sure I'd be able to watch re-runs on some deep Satellite channel on TV even now if the fancy took me..
