The Weeping Window

Went to the Black Watch Museum in Perth, Scotland to see the "Weeping Window" exhibit.

It consists of around 8,000 ceramic poppies, part of the "Fields of Blood" manorial at the Tower of London earlier.

Very moving.

I visited the cathedral in Kirkwall in August but it was too late to see the display.

I wish I could see that in person, Laurie. It's beautiful. I wonder how long it takes them to get that all set up.

You may be interested in the original "Fields of Blood" at the Tower, which had nearly 900,000 individually crafted, and individually placed, ceramic poppies, one for each British and Commonwealth life lost.
