The "Wow!" emoji

Exactly what I was saying about using the angry face. It's a comment on the content of a posted story.
Senseless killing of children; cruelty to animals ... those things make me angry and that's when I will react with an angry face emoji.
See, I use it differently; posts like the above I tend to skip by without looking or commenting (whereas Matrix, being the Admin., is in a different position on that) and I use the angry face to say, "I don't agree with what you've said here," albeit rarely.

You know, an "I don't agree, but I'm listening," or an, "I don't agree, but respect your opinion" emoji --- actually, I could just say those things...

Might I also just mention, as I've just seen one, that I do not at all care for the shocking, splashy, disturbing headlines that frequently get posted here. I avoid the news for a reason and if I wanted to see (or know about) such things I'd read the news or watch live TV.

I use it either way. I usually use it to express surprise about something I've never known about or that seems incredible, but occasionally I use it to express surprise at something overtly racist, misogynistic or just bat s**t crazy that someone has posted. So, don't judge by my reactions.

I've said before that I would like a simple Thumbs Down emoji. I know I can include it in a reply, but that's too much time and energy.
