There is a lot of talk about IS Brides returning to Australia

Anyone who leaves their native country to join a terrorist group, or marry into one, should loose their citizenship & their off springs shouldn't be considered citizens through the parent.

There is too much potential danger to all countries when people like this want to "come home". They made that decision to leave themselves & they need to live with that decision & everything that it includes.

The people of our nations need to be protected from present threats that exists as well as future danger.

IMO only, I think that they should have been repatriated when the children were much younger, before they were damaged by years in a desert tent camp. We could have educated them and helped them to fit into Australian society, but I now fear that they will be a threat to Australian society in the years to come.

I agree, I wrote to Julia Gillard about them when she was foreign minister asking about any attempts to get them home. They are Australian children that have done nothing wrong and just had unfortunate parents.

Previous ISIS brides have arrived back in the country, from memory one was prosecuted for some offence while overseas but as far as I am aware none have caused any more problems. They will probably be watched for the rest of their lives.

Leaving Australian citizens in refugee camps is a shame on our government. Its heartless.

I think this is a matter of morals, not politics. Has everyone forgotten the atrocities committed by ISIS? By being a member of such an organisation, they are just as guilty as the perpetrators. By joining ISIS, they were rejecting Western values and have forfeited the right to live in a Western country. If the Australians don't want to accept them back into the country, it is their choice and they should not be forced to.

I don't envision any international pressure for any country to handle the issue in a specific way. Do I recall an Australian politician saying that if they have citizenship, they are required by law to allow them back? Laws can be changed or ignored, but both of those routes can be complicated. The biggest problem is not knowing whether these women can be trusted. Some of them probably can be, but there's no way to determine who that is.

They left their country to join the most vile antisocial group in modern society that wants to turn the world into Hell hole. Do we hold that against them? Have they learned anything good from the experience? Have they learned anything bad? Like someone pointed out earlier, "They backed a loser, and now they want to come back." What does society owe them? Does it owe them anything? I don't know. And worse, I don't know what should be done with them.
