I’ve had cats my entire life and I can’t think of one who would allow me to wash it. It’s a good idea though, if she can do it.

Skunky is here!!!! He ate & drank, and now he is sitting in his favorite box (too soon for his cloth bed), in the corner! His smell is there, but it is going away. I still can't hold him, but I can scratch his chin, and we've had a very nice natter!
It's amazing how much better my mood is this morning! I've really missed him!!!!

One of our stores still use paper, by request only. I always keep some on hand to line the kitchen trash can (we burn our trash, no pick up).

No....the weather conditions are just too cold!!!! The smell is breaking down on it's own. I'm afraid that if I put him in the sink and got him wet, the smell would get stronger.
Then I would be stuck with a wet cat in the house!!!!

It’s true that Goober would like initially smell worse at first. I can understand your reasoning. I’d probably do the same. Then again, our last cat would never let us bath her. I’d be scratched silly if I tried. Keep us informed in how he’s doing.No....the weather conditions are just too cold!!!! The smell is breaking down on it's own. We are having a sunny, warm day. Soooo, we decided to throw Goober into the pond, for his bath.....
He was sprayed by the skunk back on Valentine's Day, and he still smelled like skunk, even when dry. Once he was wet, we needed to stay up wind from him!!!!

I was going to give him a can of tuna for breakfast today, but he had other plans. Right now, he is enjoying a "Birthday Squirrel!!" He loves squirrel!!! He is a very happy birthday boy!
That squirrel will keep him busy all day, while I'm at the roller rink. I guess he'll get the tuna tonight, when I get home. LOL
(I did get a picture of him with his squirrel, but I am reluctant to post it. I don't want to offend anyone.)
