Watching the International Space Station pass by overhead on a clear night.
Reminds me of the night so many years ago when Dad had us go outside and watch Sputnik pass by.

If you want to see when it will be passing by overhead in your area, visit the Nasa sight below.

Walking in the woods and hearing absolutely nothing but birds singing and the smell of pine needles or dry leaves in the fall as I walk. If there is a brook nearby, the sound of the water going over the rocks.

The sound of a thousand peepers in the darkness of a warm spring night. That's the one thing I miss about our house with the big pond in the front yard. First the peepers and then later would come the big bull frogs. The sound of the peepers literally felt like it was piercing your brain and the bull frogs sounded like a bunch of banjo players warming up for a jam session:)! I miss them.

Last week our son and daughter came down for a visit from the Pacific northwet. We spent a pleasant afternoon sitting on the beach. On another day we went up to Crystal River to see the manatees. On the way back we stopped in Tarpon Springs for some Greek food.
