Drawers that won't slide easily!!!

Drivers who turn without signaling, or who won't let me in when *I* am signaling that I need to move over!

People who constantly interrupt when I or someone else is talking.

People at grocery stores who block the exit doors or a the path to the exit to check their receipt. It's a common occurrence where I shop.

I interrupt others sometimes. Mainly because I have something to say and don't want to forget what I'm thinking. Sometimes "interrupting" isn't rude at all, it's just part of conversing with others. Without thinking, my wife can interrupt me when I'm talking to someone. She will say, "I thought you were done talking". Sometimes people who interrupt will say, "interrupting is the only way I can get a word in".

Sometimes it's the only way to get involved into a conversation, especially if the conversation interests the person.

Telephone scammers, or even legitimate businesses making uninvited sales calls. Robocalls are the worst; you can't even talk back.

Actually, I think the older we get, the more we get annoyed at things that didn't use to annoy us. To a point, it's called "patience".

People who don't have much, if any, sense of humor, think I'm annoying with my humor and sarcasm. All I can say is, "oh well".

People that write 20,000 words responses to a simple subject in a forum.
People that talk through others.
People that keep explaining even after you keep saying, "Ok, I understand".

OK this kind of interrupting I understand. Perhaps I should have been more specific. I'm having a conversation with Person A about the things that annoy me. Person C, randomly and without even waiting for a pause or break in the conversation, interrupts with "Hey, did you see this article?" or "Person A, are we going to the party tonight?" or some other completely disrelated question or comment. It's annoying because you're not contributing at all to the conversation we're having, you're just interrupting with your own topic which can derail the conversation completely.

It's even more annoying when Person A and me continue to converse, ignoring the interruption because it's not germane, and person C starts yelling for attention.

And yes, there is someone like Person C in my life. I guess I'm venting!

When I hear/read people say "I could care less" instead of the correct "I couldn't care less".

This is a VERY common error; most people get it wrong.

I'm annoyed by self-absorbed, vain people. News "reporting" with too much spin. Kids riding off road vehicles with loud exhausts up and down the street.

Get off my lawn.

orange traffic cones that seem to breed like rabbits. 10 cones one day, twenty the next and no one around doing any work that would necessitate closing an entire lane or two of traffic. Those cones are everywhere, on every street and highway...they are annoying as well as evil.

I don't get annoyed as much as I used to. In the grand scheme of things, most annoyances are pretty petty. If somebody cuts me off in traffic, I just figure that eventually they will get theirs by driving that way. I mostly get annoyed at myself for doing something stupid. That seems to happen more as I get older.

When I was working it was often in tall office buildings with elevators. A pet peeve was when someone still in the elevator would hold the door and carry on a conversation with the person who just got off...making everyone wait until their meeting was over.
