acid in tea ?It might be the acid, then, in cola and other soft drinks. That's why I've had to stay away from them (and coffee and tea also).

Yeah, a lot of people just use a refillable sports water bottle or flask. I just refill mine from the refrig water dispenser before going out. It's normally big enough that I don't need to refill, but water is pretty available most anywhere. The environmental cost of bottled water is incredibly high. Imagine, simple water pouring out of a glacier. It have to be collected (by some powered device), tested, and bottled. The bottles are made of everyone's favorite, plastic. Then it has to be distributed, either by ship, air, or road, all over the country and world. It's placed on shelves where it is bought and taken far and wide. Once the water is done, most of the bottles are simple garbage. For a quick swig of water. It truly is a crazy thing. Most of the cost of a bottle of water is getting the water into your hands, because the water itself is likely near "free".
You had me except for the olives. I'll take your share.People who allow a political party to become part of who they are, above all else.
A religious conviction that is largely based on where you're born (US - Christian, India - Hindu, China - Chinese Folk Religions, etc.)
In terms of war, the idea that God is on your side (although a fine song by Bob Dylan).
Why people like Olives.
People with strong convictions about things they know virtually nothing about.
People who think love, and marriage, are a joke.

Tannic acid is said to be quite beneficial to one's health. Google it.You know, there are several things to be depressed about, but the thought of having a negative reaction to tea is.... unthinkable.![]()
Yeah, it's pretty high, especially in black and rose hip tea. Green tea and most of the herb teas aren't too high in acid but I don't like them, I only like the black, sigh.acid in tea ?![]()

I forget that Flavoured teas are much more popular in the USA than they are here.. I drink normal breakfast tea, very weak.. no acid...Yeah, it's pretty high, especially in black and rose hip tea. Yes, it truly s*cks. My favorite food is a nice, ripe, juicy tomato but that acid? No way my system can handle it.You know, there are several things to be depressed about, but the thought of having a negative reaction to tea is.... unthinkable.![]()
All the normal breakfast tea (or any black tea) we get here is still mildly acidic and my system can handle no acid at all.I forget that Flavoured teas are much more popular in the USA than they are here.. I drink normal breakfast tea, very weak.. no acid...

All the best people love olives....What's with all you olive lovers? Just what kind of a place have I wandered into? Most of you seem so normal on the surface!
I can't remember what it came in, but Coke syrup was what my mom gave us when we had stomach flu and couldn't keep anything down. A spoonful or two of that was very soothing, for some reason.Amazing what memories can rise to the surface.
Anyone else remember being sent to the drugstore for Coke Syrup that came in pint sized waxed paper "milk carton" packaging?
Ahhhh, normal is just a cycle on the washing machine. Pass me the olives. What's with all you olive lovers? Just what kind of a place have I wandered into? Most of you seem so normal on the surface!
I will. (I bet I'd love it, though; everything I love to eat or drink tries to kill me.Yorkshire Tea for me. It'd probably kill you - STAY AWAY.

I prefer Coke Zero to regular CokeThis is something I don't understand. Diet cola tastes horrible. Coke is my favorite drink, but damn even I pass on the diet version.
Each to their own of course.
No, unfortunately. You'd think it would, but no. Also, whereas any other kind of acid only (only!) makes me itch all over and causes indigestion, tannic acid from even just one cup or glass of tea also makes a weird, metallic smell come out of my pores.I did not know that. Does it help to add milk?
you can have my share as well...You had me except for the olives. I'll take your share.
Yorkshire tea is horrible it's verrry strong..I will. (I bet I'd love it, though; everything I love to eat or drink tries to kill me.
