Things That Women Do Better Than Men

Annie, respectability in my opinion simply indicates a lack of either stamina or imagination!

Respectability, never come across that word before? .......I do remember a documentary some decades ago that supported the belief that women were much better at repetitive tasks than men, and cited the case of an assembly line where filaments were being inserted into light bulbs, the failure rate for men was much higher than women.

It seems because of generally better multi-tasking skills, women can complete basic tasks without thinking, so can have other thoughts or conversations going on without it interfering with the quality of the work they are doing. Men on the other hand concentrate solely on the job, but get easily diverted so the work suffers.

I have given up trying to fold anything, it never seems to work out somehow :)

True! My husband and I are good examples of this! He can only multitask if he is cooking many dishes.

Since my husband is retired, and I am working he is doing all the housework. But he doesn't do it the way I would. I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, but I have had to offer some gentle advise on how to clean. He is educable and is learning.

At least he tries and is learning, some men do it poorly on purpose so that you say "forget it" and do it yourself.
