Things you enjoy about SeniorForums.com

I like the wide variety of view points on different topics. Sometimes, I wonder why 1 topic is going on for months on end? Anyway, reading here sure beats the negative news out there. Sometimes I get a real chuckle or at least a smile when I read some of the postings.

I usual sign on soon after I wake up or after I see Meesh off to work. It helps me wake up all the way. And when I sign on at various times during the day, it's usually to distract me from something that's got me feeling down or angry or frustrated. When I sign on late at night or in the wee hours, it's because I'm having trouble sleeping.

If I don't visit SF at all, I'm probably not home.

It's very active, so there's always something new.

The many humor threads. 😀

From an anthropological viewpoint, it's interesting to learn what people my age think. 😵

Support for senior concerns like failing health, death, being at this stage of life. Valued insights from people who are somewhat older than me.

There are some lovely people on here. Thank you all!

I find out that we all have quirks, can be a tad nasty, but that's what the ignore is for. Plus it's better than another place. It's only ignores the poster, but not if someone else responds to the posting.

Still, I know we have people from other countries, that contribute and are very welcome and welcoming. The discussions can get testy, so it's all good

1. This is the only communication I have with the world except for cashiers or once a month calls from my children.
2. There are so many misconceptions in viewpoints, so much incomplete vision, it inspires me to write books.
3. It's interesting to get to know the individual personalities. Some I like a lot, some not so much!
4. At times it saddens me; Wish I could take away all the illnesses, pains, sufferings, ignorance and most of all the hatred.
Here we are together. We have to find a way to get along with our adverse opinions, enjoy each other.
Bless you all!

I enjoy the diversity of opinions on any given thread. After a time, a person can almost guess the reaction of a poster. Many of us are very outspoken, others hesitant to post, and only like to read responses.
And then, a few can't seem to get out of their own way....myself included.:)
