All very valuable reasons. As a German I often think "OMG, you've got the same problems (e.g. migration, homelessness, police violence) as the people in my country.It's very active, so there's always something new.

Support for senior concerns like failing health, death, being at this stage of life. Valued insights from people who are somewhat older than me.

Living in the past ain't so bad. My fedora hats get lots of compliments here, just like the rest of my attire, the wide lapels, the long, spearpoint collared shirts, the baggy trousers and the two tone shoes.I like and am often surprised by an older generation that is so often incorrectly stereotyped as inflexible, grumpy, and living in the past.
I think that I need a body transplant.I like the back-and-forth camaraderie between the members. People who are in the "older" age bracket. I like to see how they're doing, and if they possibly need any help.
