Things you enjoy about SeniorForums.com

I enjoy the humor of SF most of all .... the older we get, the more humor we need in our lives!

There are some great personalities around here, even thou the members keep changing.
After 10 years, it's still fun!

It's very active, so there's always something new.

The many humor threads. 😀

From an anthropological viewpoint, it's interesting to learn what people my age think. 😵

Support for senior concerns like failing health, death, being at this stage of life. Valued insights from people who are somewhat older than me.

There are some lovely people on here. Thank you all!
All very valuable reasons. As a German I often think "OMG, you've got the same problems (e.g. migration, homelessness, police violence) as the people in my country.
Edit: I forgot to mention that I became addicted to this forum. Is this good or bad?:D

The light hearted banter, sending hugs and blowing kisses at the lovely ladies that adorn this site. 😊

Another thing I like is being able to fart in this chair without any of you good people shouting, "Tim, I think a rat has crawled up your backside and died." 😊

The good conversation among members of my age group and older. I, personally, have asked for and gotten some good advice here. And I hope I have shared good info as well.
Since the dawn of the webz I have enjoyed meeting new people. And this is a great place to do it. I have been here since about 2016,the longest I have stayed on any forum other than FB

I like the social aspect. I'm also fascinated by the variety of personalities. We can tell so much about people by what they've shared or how they respond. It is refreshing to see so many different viewpoints and backgrounds.

I especially love the What Are You Listening To threads. I've rediscovered songs that I haven't heard since my youth and discovered new ones.

There are also many great, caring people here and some I can call "friends" even though I've never met them personally.

This is just an all-around great forum!

Congratulations to the owner and admin staff for making this the best forum for ease of use. For many other similar forums, it is a nightmare just to post a picture or video, but with just one click here I love it. And it goes without saying the politeness and friendly responses we all receive are unparalleled in my experiences. And I have never seen a Troller on here either, you know someone who makes an unkind remark when posting or replying, wanting of course some kind, any kind of response just to feed His/Her ego!..SeniorForum rules for me.

SeniorForums offers a wide variety of subjects and topics that far transcend the “What’s in your refrigerator”-type threads that may be found in similar sites. It proves that while we may be older, we certainly aren’t brain-dead! 😁

I learned in this forum from other members in TX that once I turned 65 y/o there was a property tax exemption. I went onto the Dallas CAD site and couldn't for the life of me find any form to submit. I turned 65 last year, and I paid my invoiced property taxes before January 31. Today I received a sizable check from Dallas CAD and it said "Over 65", so they gave it to me automatically. I would have had no idea what is was for had it not been for the helpful members in this forum. I have learned so much here!
