Things You Should Never Do

Never be a PITA on an airplane. It’s one of the biggest distractions there is, especially if the flight crew has to intervene. Causing chaos on a plane can also be dangerous to everyone onboard. This is why pilots will land and deplane anyone that acts out and causes a ruckus.
It's a big revenue source for airlines and airports, but I wish they'd stop serving alcohol in airports and on flights. Most of the problems I've seen have involved people who've had a few too many.

I agree heartily.

I hope airlines start cracking down harder on the people who cause a ruckus, for example, with a lifetime ban in some cases. I suppose criminal penalties are out of their hands in most countries.

I've read that some people sneak alcohol onboard, although—I'm kind of thinking "out loud" here—those can't be on any flights into or out of the United States because of the 3-oz rule.

I always thought I would get married again, but this first go-round has taught me a lot, and some. I don't need anymore lessons in Marriage 101, whewwww. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
I swore after I got divorced the first time, there would never be a second time... during the 16 years I stayed single, I had a couple of proposals, I made it clear I was not interested in being shackled, and all my friends knew how anti marriage I was... .. so why I agreed when my second husband asked..I will never know... ... I made it last over 20 years... but...

I should have stuck to my resolution... ...I will never make a 3rd mistake.. ever !

I've loaned way too much money over the decades, much of which I never got back. My son always pays me back and it took a few years (due to complicated circumstances) but a good friend paid me back all of what I loaned her. That being said, I stopped loaning money except for to my son and he hasn't borrowed in quite a while.

We bought a timeshare in 2008
and absolutely love having it. The trick is not to buy something that is so far away that it's an expense and/or inconvenience to get to. We could drive about 1 hour 45 minutes and get to ours. Now that my husband is gone, I can take the casino bus and get there in about two hours and 30 minutes. I can go whenever I want. We get a free week annually, to be taken anytime we choose. I share that time with my son. He goes down from Friday to Sunday. I'm there from Sunday to Thursday.

It comes in handy for my son too because my granddaughter is living on campus down there. He likes to visit every couple of months and it's much cheaper for him to book a suite at the timeshare than to get a decent hotel room when he wants to go see her. Our paid stays are at deeply discounted rates and a fraction of the cost to stay at comparable resorts down there. The home resort is oceanfront in Atlantic City, N.J. and we have our choice of 3 resorts under their "umbrella", one of which is in Brigantine, N.J.
