Boy wakes up and gets ready to go to his job. An experience familiar to me from age 13 in summer (and after school or on weekends... or more of the week, though not during school hours, in late teens).

That's a 1950 Ford 4 door sedan. I loved that style from '49-'51. Those models were widely used for police vehicles.

BTW all my father's family is from Connecticut, mostly Jewett City. I have a cousin living in Mystic.
