This rapper got a $24M diamond embedded in his forehead

The late, great Richard Pryor used to say, "Cocaine is God's way of telling you that you make too much money."

Embedding $24M diamonds in one's forehead falls under that same category. This guy couldn't find a school, children's hospital or food bank to support? Very disturbing...

I found it smacked disconcertingly of racism and condescension for the BBC to couch this article in urban language, a medium I'd never before seen them use.

That’s exactly what I thought; gruesome as it might be, it’s reality. Why do I read this stuff?😝
Reality it is, indeed.

Everything that everybody else has, is everyone else's if they want it, and if they can't have it or get it, they have no problem ending ones life in their quest to acquire it.

A 24 million dollar stone embedded in your forehead (that’s not even properly centred)
Then broadcast it to the world? 🤦‍♀️ Why????
Now he’ll need a 50 million dollar body guard.
I guess I’m being judgmental .... lol

I looked it up; it's their West African service based in Nigeria. Dunno how @Robert59 found that one! In trying to find the article on BBC's UK English site, I searched 'rapper' and got this as the first hit:

The Rapper Who Chopped His ***** Off

Maybe there's some kind of rapper headlines challenge...? Dude with the diamond spent a lot more but came out better in the long run.
