Those memorable songs of Days Gone By.

I'm not always sure of the day, or the month. And I won't remember you name 10 minutes from now. But the are some songs that I know exactly where and when I first heard them. I was in a club in lower Manhattan, West Side, in 1970 when I heard "Tears Of a Clown" on a juke box. I can close my eyes and see that juke box. Don't know why. Are there songs that bring back those kind of memories?

I had an everyday babysitting job one summer, Monday to Friday, and the radio played all day. Two songs come to mind, and whenever I hear those songs played today they take me back to that time (mid 70's).

I remember the first dance I danced to with a boy I just met. I was 15yrs old and the song was Running Scared by Roy Orbison. As soon as we started to dance the boy said to me "You fit perfectly in my arms." 5 yrs later I married him. I still love him and the song.

I have a huge playlist of such songs on Spotify but this one brings up the earliest memory that I can recall. It was one of my mom's favorite songs and I can still remember a moment when she was sitting in the living room , listening to this song with a huge smile on her face.

One of my favourite instruments of all-time!

When I was about 11 or 12 a boy took me to see this movie and I instantly fell in love with Elvis. I can't remember the name of the boy who took me to the movie.
