Three things that make me feel happy

Bacon over a campfire early morning.

A slight breeze on a warm day.

A freshly opened can of coffee.

How 'bout you?

Bacon over a campfire early morning.

A slight breeze on a warm day.

A freshly opened can of coffee.

How 'bout you?

All of those plus-

Falling asleep with the sound of the ocean's waves

Walking into air conditioning after being out on a blazing, humid day

Making homemade soup on a snowy day

Cooking a great meal, and watching everyone enjoy it.

Walking around an RV campground, at first light, and seeing folks puttering around their sites.

Being snuggled up in bed, on a chilly morning, window slightly opened, gentle breeze blowing.

Working in my garden when it is a beautiful day.

Feeling completely organized. The house is clean, yard work up to date and shopping is done.

Having an entire day to work on my many hobbies and projects.

My grandbaby's chubby little arms around my neck.
A phone call from any of my children.
The excitement of getting ready to leave on a camping trip.

going on my early morning walks breathing in cool, fresh air, listening to birds chirping
taking my close friend's dog on his afternoon walks
coming to SF every day

Listening to good music
Cooking something and having it come out delicious
Hearing from, or even better, being with my kids and grandkids

Snuggling with my furbabies in bed on a lazy winter's day.

Seeing a beautiful sunrise or sunset.

Watching beautiful wildlife or birds around my home or out in the wild.

The raccoon trusting me enough to scoop food from my hand with his paw.

Seeing any animal.

Waking up with "Dakota" (pictured) with his chin on the side of my bed, staring at me.

Hearing kids giggle.

Getting on a talking scale & hearing it say: "You weigh 170 pounds," instead of, "One at a time, please."

Dancing

That delicious unwinding as I stretch out on the bed after a 8 - 10 hour work day and a busy evening.

The family gathering together, just watching them, basking in the interactions and banter and jokes and love.

My wife, kids, grandkids, and great grands. I realize that's 4 but that's my life. We interact with all of them on a a fairly regular basis and, fortunately, they all do the same amongst themselves. With our work days far behind us, there's not much else we need except the fun and love of our relatively large family. Our 4 kids and their mates are moving into their early 60's now and they have become my "best friends". I enjoy conversing with them far more than folks my own age who's topics seem to be their health/operations or their never-ending stories of anything that remotely connects to their past job/career.

Snuggling with beloved people or pets -- snuggle buddy niece went home today. :(

The cool, soft rain after a thunderstorm passes through in July in Mississippi.

Clean sheets.
