My house was built in the 1860s so the electric wiring and outlets came much later. When we moved in, because i don't trust any form of gas i had them upgrade the wiring and breaker box, mostly in kitchen with new outlets for stove, washer and dryer. The contractor seemed a little surprised to learn i'm a person more concerned in most things with function than form or appearance so my country kitchen has visible metal conduits carrying the new wiring for the outlets that deliver 'more power'.We just have the ones on our phones, which automatically change. The microwave and toaster oven clocks -- I set them, and then see they are back to a row of zeroes. The stove clock is useless because our stove plugs into an extension cord, and we unplug it every time we are finished using it. I expect it's always been that way in this house, which was built in 1954, and is still its original self. Mostly because the woman who owned it since it was built collected stoves (she was a hoarder, mostly of stoves and clothing), and because there is no outlet anywhere near the stove.
I have 8 that I have to physically change, have half of them done.....working on it.In North America, at 2 AM Sunday we change back to Standard Time.
How many clocks and watches do you have to physically change.
For me it’s 7. And there‘s always one I seem to forget about.
