In the last few weeks.. we've had thousands of train drivers and rail staff on strike.. no trains or Tubes running.. and it's continuing through December..
70,000 lecturers, librarians and researchers across 150 UK universities went on strike for 3 days in November
This month will also see around 100,000 civil servants across over 100 government departments walk out, impacting the Home Office, Job Centres, passport and DVLA procedures , The Border force and more .
The military is expected to be drafted in to cover for Border Force workers.
Road workers have announced that they will strike over 12 days in December and January, with the action risking “ bringing the road network to a standstill.”
They will strike in different parts of England on December 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31, and on January 3, 4, 6, and 7.
We've had the Postal workers on strike for several days last month and this month , and there's more strike days to come..
On the 15th and 16 of this month , 300,00 NHS nursing staff and Medics are striking...they want a 26 % pay increase...
In the meantime our energy prices have risen 110% in the last 6 months... our fuel is the most expensive in Europe, and our food prices have risen exponentially this year...
