Matthew McConaughey has been appointed to the Department of Radio-Television-Film at the University of Texas at Austin (his alma mater) as its new professor of practice.
The Interstellar star has been a visiting tutor at the University in his hometown for the past four years, but now he's been given an officially appointed.
McConaughey teaches on the Script To Screen class, at the university's Moody College of Communication, for which he helped to develop the curriculum, which looks at the process of film production."

Saw him a few times on the late nite shows and he is sooo handsome, charming, witty, smart with a great sense of humor to boot....hope his wife still sees him that way ;)
 
When he was a student, here in Austin, he was busted for being buzzed, naked and playing bongos in his house, with the windows open, at 2 AM! This was in '99. I've never seen him around town, in truth. Of course, Mary Lou Retton was here for four years, also at UT, in the 80's, and I never saw her, either.

I remember that. ... so he was rehearsing for life in Hollywood. ;)

Back in the day, other celebs that went to UT, Janis Joplin. Farrah Faucet and Jayne Mansfield among many.
