Together but alone?

I sold my iPhone two years ago and bought one of those old lady Jitterbugs. It is always in my purse, usually turned off. It is for emergencies. I spend a lot of time on the computer because I teach 100% online. I don't have any desire to text or receive calls every day. I talk to friends on the phone when it is important and keep in touch with family & friends via e-mail or FB. Once I retire, I will spend less time on the computer.

That sounds good to me, even with the time I spend online "not working" I think deters me from wanting to use any "gadget" when I am not online. But like I said, I've never been a phone-person. I want a better phone eventually, but what I mean by better, is larger buttons, LOL, that I can see without my glasses;) And the simpler the better. I have internet with my service but NEVER use it with this phone, and don't want a phone that even offers it. Texting is for others that enjoy it, I don't at all after hitting my keyboard all day:) Good for you Kim!!

My iPhone is great, but i am not much of a phone person either; and even less of a texter. I usually only answer it when someone is calling me, and seldom ned to call someone myself. We do take the cell phones along when we go to the store, like Lowes though, that way Bobby and I can locate each other in the store; so it does have its uses.
Now, my iPad is a whole different story ! I practically live and sleep with the iPad. It has replaced the computer, and even the laptop. The iPad is just the right size, I can sit in my comfortable chair and use it; and with the touch-screen, i can make words whatever size they need to be for me to see them.

Yes, I do Ina, LOL! I think I had a push-button like that, but I don't remember our family getting one when they came out. Wow, they were so neat, and I would see them at other people's houses and dream of having one;)
