Too Young for a Geezer But Too Old Not to be a Dinosaur

(BTW please no one take offense at geezer, I use it in jest...I also call gentlemen thirty years my senior "son")

But anyways...I was reading during my break at work. A manager and a co-worker had the usual "Whatcha reading?". The subject was writer Lillian Roxan. She was a music critic in the 60's and wrote the first definitive encyclopedia of rock and roll. She was obviously before my time but very interesting reading.

In trying to explain I said " You've heard of Max's Kansas City?" Complete blank looks...probably many blank looks on this forum too. MKC and CBGB's were legendary music hangouts in 60's and 70's. I guess I'm at that awkward age. My music has become historic. I can really befuddle everyone...I'm also reading a book about Will Rogers.

Ummm, maybe twenty years older than you are now?;) Then again there was "Never trust somebody over thirty" and our kids or grandkids might be past that...crap.

IMHO
