Today on the clearance rack there were several bags of a green vegetable. I should have taken a photo of the name of it. I thought it had a u and k in it.
It looked like a long tapered green pine cone. Maybe 4 - 6” long. The spikes on it looked prickly. The fellow putting things out hadn’t ever seen them before. He was told that you trim the spikes off. Cut it in half, scoop it out and fill with cream cheese and garlic. We both agreed that it didn’t look or sound appealing.
Any ideas?
