What the hell is up with all these train derailments ? Just heard of another one today, down in Alabama. Is someone planting, whatever ? on the rails? Or disrupting them in some other maner ?

I'm going to see just how many there have been since the first one here in E, Palestine.
 

Could be because trains are way heavier, faster, and longer than they were when the railroads were built. Plus, there are more of them.
 

Frankly, feces happens. With a few million train cars, not all are working perfectly, not all rails are fine.

They happen all the time, an average of 1,475 per year or about 4 per day. The press just doesn't cover most.

Well then, with all this said , I guess the problem is with the railroads . I hope the folks in D.C. keep after them to make the repairs.
