Last weekend, while waiting to board my flight to Jacksonville from Dulles International, two men about 25 started talking louder and louder at each other. It almost came to a screaming match. All I could pick up was something about the daughter the 1 man was holding and she was swinging her legs and kicking the other man’s son in the head. He told his son to move a few times, but she still kept swinging her legs and kicking the boy in the head or face area.
Finally, the man with the boy asked the dad with the girl if he could move a bit so his daughter wouldn’t kick him. This started a ruckus and other passengers started yelling at each other too. I knew this wasn’t going to turn out good, so I went back to my seat and sat down. Someone must have called security because 3 airport police showed up and took them all away.
If that wasn’t bad enough, on the ride down to Jacksonville, we had been in the air for maybe an hour when this lady started screaming about not getting anything to drink. I heard the flight attendant tell her that she was asleep when they got to her, so she was missed.
Just to shut her up, I offered to buy her a cocktail, but she didn’t want that, she wanted her Diet Sprite. The flight attendant tried to tell her that the drinks had all been put away, except for the mixers. So now she starts yelling profanities. The male flight attendant got her to shut up, but when we arrived in Jacksonville, there were 2 cops waiting to take her away.
Have people actually lost their minds traveling by air? I never saw anything like that happen on a train.
