Traveling and dating as a senior in South America

I lived in Thailand for 10 years, I have been retired for many years. Also Malaysia, Cambodia, Mexico. As far as women go, my personal opinion is Thailand and SE Asia is great, and much easier than South America. I won't go into more detail . Most of the women here get upset. I am in South America and Mexico traveling now because it is so easy and close to my home in Texas. The jet lag and recovery time going and coming from S.E. Asia was killing me. Also the polution in Thailand is getting so bad it was unlivable for me. Horrible air pollution. Here I can breath the air and live a nice quiet life. Close to home.

My hobby is travel? Women just happen to be a perk of being able to travel. Who knew. As my business grew in the US and I could afford to travel I really starting to love it... Wonderful life.

I love travel and new places. Two weeks ago I got bored in Colombian and hopped a flight to Ecuador (Quito) for a week to see the breath taking church in El Central (the old district) and do some birding. No women no nada, just a great side trip. I really like exploring and travel. In S.E. Asia I bought a pickup and explored all of S.E. Asia I could get to. I am thinking about buying a vehicle here. South America is a lot more open and easy to cross borders.
I keep an old beater pickup in Texas and drive down to Mexico all the time birding and have made great friends.
Odly enough the women in Texas where I live, when they see my old beater make a snap decision of me. Uggg. But, I don't care.

My 2 cats understand, "Go outside" - "Hungie" - "Inside - Treats - GTFO-o-H !"
Bad Cat & Naughty Cat are meaning less terms cause they hiding somewhere sleeping.
In the winter it most usually is on an Air vent. Cola is pulling the cover off of my
Recliner as I type now. Where ever I sit, he goes soon after. "Smell, that Smell." Lynard Skynyrd.

This is a very specific topic about "Travel", Dating in South America! It would be better in the "Diaries" section. That's what it is. A personal diary. OH, but something more. An exhibitionism to show off his marvelous life. ( whether or not it is real ) To annoy us with his special place in the world. If it were to go in your diary...go for it...totally...show us everything! :)

are we breaking any forum rules here!! - if not well sounds like good fun - the 'windup' sort maybe?

I know some German men, who also prefer Asian women over Germans, some prefer women from Eastern Europe and so on. Nothing wrong with it. Women also have their likes and dislikes in men. I know women who would never date or even marry a man who is less tall. I am less tall than my wife, but if a woman says "I don't like a man who is shorter than me", I wouldn't find it offensive. It's just her choice.
Today a lot of people become enraged for every shit. Why?

You must have lived in either Bangkok or Chiang Mai. I live in Rayong's Mae Ram Phueng Beach area and get nothing but clean fresh air right off of the Gulf of Thailand. Regarding the women in Latin America, they made me feel like a movie star when I was there in 1967.
