Walter Mondale, Senator, Vice-President and presidential candidate, is dead at 93. I remember him as a good and decent man who championed liberal causes while upholding very high standards of personal and professional conduct.

I didn't know that.

Also many others such as Hubert Humphrey and JFK. Both parties have gone off the rails IMHO.

Darn good guy. Well respected by all sides here in Minnesota for his tact and professional approach to everything. Republicans should be more like him.
