True - both flat track and harness. One time it was on a date and the other times it was with a group from work. Being in the Saratoga Springs area, they rely heavily on the horse racing industry. Never bet on my own, but once a guy at work gave me some money to bet for him and he won. I haven't been to any track now in decades. The harness races used to be televised on a local TV station on Wednesday nights, hosted by a local media personality, but those days are gone for good.
