I wasn't really thinking much about this possibility but had a conversation about it with family members and decided maybe stockpiling necessary stuff might not be a bad idea. I don't know what my neighbors think or plan to do But since I was not ready for the pandemic years ago, I'd like to be better prepared this time.

What will you do? If anything?

It may happen before November with what’s going on in Colorado with Venezuelan gangs taking over apartments. A video went viral showing the gangs taking over units in a complex, but some people are saying the video may have been created using AI. The follow-up story was that Hells Angels were going to Colorado to resolve the problem.

Well, we've already seen the usual list of corrupt anti-American organizations publishing things like:
Even more so than the first, the second resistance will be one of the people, not just lawyers. We will activate our 6.5 million supporters and our 54 affiliates in every state and territory. In partnership with grassroots organizations, labor unions, religious congregations and community leaders, we will exercise our First Amendment rights to mobilize the people in the streets, lobby in their statehouses, and advocate for local leaders to resist. General strikes, economic boycotts, and worker walk-outs will be critical tools to demonstrate that Americans will not sit idly by while a constitutional crisis is perpetrated.
The triggering incident they are planning these riots and legal stalling for is their candidate losing the election in November!

This incendiary rabble-rousing in preparation for an actual insurrection is not coming from the political faction that the media has been trying to fool you about.

I'd also worry more if I lived in a big city or along the coasts. We have already seen their lack of restraint in looting and burning out homes and businesses there.

Nahhh, I don't expect much difficulty.

Good grief! Elections are not the only danger we face. Long-term electrical outages, widespread terrorism, war, wholesale panic are more likely, my opinion. Know your neighbors. Take collective precautions against violence. Stock up on necessaries so that you are able to be of use or able to trade for what you need

I fully expect civil unrest the day after election day. That will be the first Wednesday of the month which means that it's Seniors Day at the grocery store I shop at. I will avoid Fry's (Kroeger's) at all cost on that day ! And it's Senior's Day at Walgreens on election day so even more chaos on that day.

Nah, just sell your stuff and move to low-income housing. Never show up there as A postal delivery / keep living but spend your money having a great time before the Crooks screw You out of it. Now you just another low life but beating them out of it.

The world today is about screwing you. Take yours's, you can and bury it.

Chic, are you living in a region that would seem to lean toward civil unrest? What do you sense?

Anyhow, I wish you the best. I truly hope you'll be safe and will not face any practical difficulties.
Yes, the cities will. I really didn't believe this would become a problem but my family wasn't telling me everything because I caught one of those mosquito borne viruses and have been feeling lousy with it for a while. They didn't want to upset me. But, I'd rather prepare for this if I can.
