There has been knew evidence in an existing scandal/investigation of at least one pedophile in the Margaret Thatcher government. Some notes or memos admitting to such warning Thatcher's Cabinet Secretary of active pedophiles in the government. That were there all the time.

An investigation last year apparently didn't find these documents. They were "slipped" on line recently.
 

Hardly new

There have been unsubstantiated rumours about Leon Brittain for some years.

If there was "evidence" there would have been arrests by now in the current climate in the UK.

All such is very high profile at the moment.
