UK Mobile phone company website hacked - customers lose

The big story here is the mobile phone company whose records were hacked. Records of customers including their bank details, etc have been stolen. Customers are getting phishing phone calls from thieves claiming to be the Talk Talk company and asking them for their passwords. Some have apparently been stupid enough to fall for it.

It was explained on the radio this morning how easily the thieves got into the site. The company was not secure enough with it's website. Glad it's not my company.
 

Very. I don't get how people would have their bank accounts wiped out because someone had their bank account number. We do direct debits like that all the time. Without a bank card or the bank password you can't get at the money. Must be phishing emails and phone calls they fell for and gave out info.
