Can you send some sunshine here purlease...it's pitch dark, 80 mph winds.:winter1:..storming...pouring with rain and freezing cold... ***brrr** ..and I've not long got home from work after a long hard day, and I need an injection of sun

Oh Capt we've had a horrible winter actually...although minimal snow...but we've had almost non stop gale force winds since December, and rain almost constantly for weeks, hardly more than a days' break tbh ...unusual for here in the south east ..we usually get cold ..even snow, but lots of blue skies and rarely any real very strong winds..

I'm sitting here listening to the howling winds blowing down the chimney...I hate the winds more than anything. I'm pleased you've got a bit of decent weather tho'.. :D

I'm with you, Holly! We get very high winds here, too. I hate it when it rattles things on top of the house and blows branches up against windows and so on. Makes me feel like a rat in a box. And when it's a very cold wind, it seems to creep in through the tiniest crack or crevice.
 
Beautiful day here in the 70s :). We put out Weed and Feed, walked to the park, and barbecued steak. It was a full on glimpse of spring. All the rain has made my drought-stricken lawn green. Life is good .
