Actually 294 American casualties in Operation Desert Storm. So we won? It was worth the lives of those 4,400 American military? And the $2 Trillion bucks we spent? What exactly did we get for our "investment". And why do we think we will be successful in Iran. A country 3 times the size of Iraq?

Actually 294 American casualties in Operation Desert Storm.
- Operation Desert Storm began on January 17, 1991.
- The primary combat phase lasted 42 days.
- It officially ended on February 28, 1991.
The ignore button is nice. You know why a really good tennis player won't play against a beginner?
That's why I won't be responding to any more of your comments.
Another Fun Fact: China buys 55% of Venezuela’s oil exports.Apparently, most Iranian oil exports go to China..
Here is an interesting comment on the war going on in Iran
I asked an AI how much of Iran’s oil was sold to China before the recent war.
Other source claim 90% of Iran’s oil sales are to China because of embargoes and restrictions.
Then why were you arguing the point? The Department of Defense reports 4,432 American military casualties for the whole Iraq-Kwait conflict. So Trade's estimate was more correct.
Only through removing tariffs. Of course India has the right to accept or reject.US allows India? Since when has India to ask the U.S. if it is allowed to buy oil from Russia?
I never use the Ignore button because I want to find out how truly ignorant, bigoted or hateful people can be. Let's me know what I'm dealing with outside my "bubble".The ignore button is nice.![]()
I very rarely use it for similar reasons. Haven't had anyone on ignore for a very long time, well over a year, maybe two.I never use the Ignore button because I want to find out how truly ignorant, bigoted or hateful people can be. Let's me know what I'm dealing with outside my "bubble".![]()
Same here. I posted a thread about Pride last year and received a couple of horrible responses. At least one is gone. More importantly, I got PMs from other members expressing support. It also brought out the "best" in people.I very rarely use it for similar reasons. Haven't had anyone on ignore for a very long time, well over a year, maybe two.
Interestingly enough, those I've ignored were all eventually banned or left SF on their own.
Then why were you arguing the point?
That's true - I get it........pays to know all of what's going on.I never use the Ignore button because I want to find out how truly ignorant, bigoted or hateful people can be. Let's me know what I'm dealing with outside my "bubble".![]()
I have the opposite thought to that...what you don't know won't hurt you....That's true - I get it........pays to know all of what's going on.
It's whatever our comfort levels are I suppose.I have the opposite thought to that...what you don't know won't hurt you....
The people I have on ignore on this forum can't hurt me.. they're just very annoying, and certainly not people I would mix with in real life so I don't want to read their views on anything and certainly not have them try and contact me through a PM..*ugh*It's whatever our comfort levels are I suppose.
Nothing anyone posts in this forum can hurt me, but I prefer total awareness.
I understand what you're saying, but I have to tell you that I actually liked many of the views posted by the one member who contacted me by PM, until her PM revealed that the posts I liked did not represent the "true" person. The people I have on ignore on this forum can't hurt me.. they're just very annoying, and certainly not people I would mix with in real life so I don't want to read their views on anything and certainly not have them try and contact me through a PM..*ugh*
